What We Offer
With over a decade of experience and expansion, the Silver Linings Trust is now divided into four distinct sections that cater for special needs children from early childhood all the way through to adulthood and ensure that the children’s journey is supported and accompanied by highly-qualified staff and trained specialists.
The schools cater for a maximum of 35 pupils thus ensuring that a high teacher to pupil ratio of 1 teacher to 3.5 pupils. This ensures personalised attention to each pupil to learn and develop through individually designed holistic programmes. The key to the success of the school is a strong school ethos, developed by highly capable and passionate staff, the strength of relationships between the staff and pupils, the integration of the school in with mainstream schooling as well as the consistent support and a community for the parents of the pupils.
The Sunshine Zimbabwe Project for young adults has been the most recent addition that is a vocational education initiative for school leavers and adults.
